About Us
Since 2017, EduAI Canada has been guiding educators, administrators, and school districts through the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence in education. Our work is rooted in the belief that every Canadian student deserves teachers who are confident, informed, and prepared.
Our Story
EduAI Canada started as a grassroots initiative in Toronto, when a group of four educators noticed that AI was transforming every sector except the one that matters most: education. Teachers were being asked to prepare students for a technology-driven future without receiving any formal training themselves. The gap was glaring, and the need was urgent.
What began as weekend workshops in rented community spaces has grown into a nationally recognized organization that partners with over 120 school boards across all ten provinces and three territories. Our founding team has expanded to include certified education consultants, curriculum developers, AI researchers, and policy advisors who share a common goal: making sure no educator is left behind as technology reshapes how we teach and learn.
Every program we build is informed by real classroom experience. Our team members have collectively logged over 40,000 hours of direct instruction and coaching in Canadian schools, giving us a grounded perspective that sets us apart from technology vendors and corporate training firms.
Our mission, vision, and values shape every decision we make and every program we deliver.
To equip every Canadian educator with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to integrate artificial intelligence responsibly into teaching and learning. We believe that when teachers thrive, students flourish. Our programs are designed to bridge the gap between rapidly evolving technology and the practical realities of daily classroom instruction.
A Canada where AI literacy is as fundamental as reading and numeracy. We envision a future where every student graduates with a clear understanding of how AI works, how it affects their lives, and how to engage with it thoughtfully. This starts with empowered teachers and well-supported school leaders who can navigate the complexities of emerging technologies.
Equity: Every school deserves access, regardless of size or location.
Integrity: We recommend what works, not what sells.
Collaboration: We build with educators, not just for them.
Transparency: Clear communication about what our programs can and cannot achieve.
Adaptability: We evolve as quickly as the technology we teach about.

Feedback from school leaders and teachers we have worked with across the country.
"EduAI Canada's workshops completely shifted how our teachers think about AI in the classroom. The sessions were practical, engaging, and immediately applicable. Within two months, over 60% of our staff reported feeling confident using AI-assisted tools in their lesson planning."
Linda W.
Superintendent, Peel District School Board
"The policy framework EduAI helped us develop gave our board the clarity and confidence to move forward responsibly. Instead of reacting to every new tool that appeared, we now have a structured approach to evaluating and approving AI resources. It has saved us countless hours of ad hoc decision-making."
Robert G.
Director of Education, Halifax Regional Centre
"As a grade 7 teacher in a small rural school, I felt completely overwhelmed by AI before the training. The facilitators met me where I was and gave me tangible strategies I could use the very next day. I left with a renewed sense of purpose and a toolkit full of practical ideas."
Danielle P.
Grade 7 Teacher, Prince George, BC
Our Approach
We do not believe in one-size-fits-all training. Every school district has a different culture, different resources, and different levels of readiness. That is why every program we create starts with listening. Our consultants spend time understanding your specific context before recommending a single session or writing a single slide.
Our pedagogical approach centres on active learning. Participants do not sit through long lectures about AI theory. Instead, they work through guided scenarios, collaborative exercises, and hands-on tool explorations that mirror real classroom situations. This means the skills they develop during our workshops translate directly into their teaching practice.
We also prioritize follow-through. A single workshop can spark interest, but sustained change requires ongoing support. That is why every engagement includes post-session resources, follow-up check-ins, and access to our growing community of AI-literate educators across Canada.
Whether you represent a single school or an entire provincial board, we would love to hear from you. Reach out and let us explore how we can support your AI literacy goals together.
